Dear Rick, Welcome to the list. My mother (60/11) and I have searched out most of the PD care here in Seattle. The best care that we have run into is a Dr. Ballard. He actually has fellowship training in movement disorders and is extremely good. His number at the office 206-386-6320. Also, due to the lack of holistic care here in Washington we have a tentative plan to create a Northwest Parkinson's Center here in Seattle and then establish satellite offices around the state. Keep in touch and I'll let you know how we progress. And good luck to you. The sun is shining! Could someone please give me a starting point, web-based or otherwise, for finding a movement disorder specialist in my area, meaning Seattle (we're 90 miles north of there). I tried looking at bestdoctors.com but that site in apparently undergoing renovations and is inaccessible for now. So many of you have urged me to consult with a MDS that I feel this is really the way to go at this stage. Thanks for the help. Rick 46/one-sixth
