I want you to please answer four quick questions--so that I may be able to help in some way. 1. Your mum's age now, and the age when Parkinson's began. 2. Has she suffered from any hallucinations at all, before you began using Tolcapone? 2. When you observe your mum, what are her movements and reactions like now? Can you describe them to us? 3. Please provide us with the schedule of your mum's medications(how much and the times she gets her meds). A number of us on the list can suggest ways that YOU might be able to "fine-tune" her medications, such as reducing parts of certain SInemet dosages, IMMEDIATELY. If she's getting " REAL BAD HALLUCINATIONS," I would imagine you would want to NOT WAIT for the neurologist to "order" a medication change! You can always adjust her meds very slightly, while meanwhile keeping in touch with the physician on the telephone. You must be very distressed, and I feel that many of us will help you. I feel sorry for you both, and hope you will write back quickly! Keep in touch, IVAN 48/10
