I found this on the internet: Dextroamphetamine (Dexedrine®) yet another stimulant with a slight difference from Ritalin. Dexedrine works to maintain the level of dopamine present in your brain, while increasing it's level. It's available as 5 milligram/teaspoon elixer or a 5 milligram tablet. Their duration both are 4-6 hours. Also available are spansules in 5, 10, or 15 milligram strengths with a duration of 8-12 hours. Dosage may range from 5-40 milligrams per day. Side-effects are similar to Ritalin's but may be more pronounced in children. There is also a greater risk of potential abuse.
