Hi,
I just joined this discussion group about two days ago. I understand it is
open to family members of PD patients. If I'm wrong, tell me and I will
leave. What I've seen so far, is a form for people with Parkinsons.
GREAT IDEA!!

PROBLEM: My Mother is 84 in the advance stages of PD. One of the
characteristics of PD is upward toe curl. Her GP had a Podiaitist look at
it--He recommended a chord be surgically inplanted to help stop the curl.

QUESTION: Has anyone heard of this procedure?? Especially in PD patients!

ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE WELCOME.

                            Thanks,
                                      Jim
