There is an announcement of Brain Awareness Week (March 16 - 22) at http://www.dana.org/brainweek. Brain Awareness Week is an annual campaign coordinated by The Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives to promote public awareness of and support for brain research. During this week, in fact, throughout the entire month, numerous events dealing with all aspects of neuroscience will occur. The web site includes a calendar of events. I found one event having PD as its exclusive topic -- a seminar given by the Parkinson Institute -- plus several other events which cover PD plus other neurological disorders.
