I, like your wife, was put on Eldapryl upon being diagnosed.  I have a very
slight case of PD but I found that Eldapryl caused me to have very vivid
dreams when I was able to sleep and it may have the reason I wa having the
runs.  When I last saw my neuro he decided to take me off of Eldapryl and
have me take 800 icus of vitamin E.  I have been on this for about 2 months
and I truly believe it is working better than the Eldapryl.  Even my friends
have said that I am not shaking as much as I did before.  I don't have the
anxiety that I felt before.  And my pocketbook is much happier than before.
I hope this info will help you get a feel for what you think you need.  I
will be going to my Dr. in June to evaluate the vit. E.  I shall let all of
you know.
