Poculi Ludique Societas is sponsoring the above session at the 33rd International Congress on Medieval Studies in Kalamazoo MI. It will take place on Saturday, May 9 at 1:30 p.m. in Room 300. (Valley 3) This session is planned in conjunction with the performances of the full York cycle in Toronto on June 20th, and of a condensed version of the York cycle in York in early July. We plan to host a vigourous freestyle discussion which will touch upon issues such as the ethics of text modernization, the use of records to shape modern stagings, and the effects of modern stagings on research. If you have been involved with stagings of early drama, especially of plays from the York Cycle, we would welcome your insights at this time. For further information, please contact Kim Yates or Chet Scoville at the addresses below. We look forward to seeing you in May. Kim Yates [log in to unmask] Chet Scoville [log in to unmask]
