Skipping all the obvious ones, here are two Shakespeare adaptations which could get overlooked: Rhys Davies, _The Dark Daughters_ (1948)--a modern Lear; Katharine Kerr and Martin H. Greenberg ed. _Weird Tales from Shakespere_ (DAW books, 1994)--an anthology of Shakespeare inspired (?) sci-fi short stories. Curtis Perry
