Good for you Mary Anne with your warning about potassium if there is a loss of kidney function I can vouch for that--when Mel went to E.R. 4 weeks ago with kidney failure, his potassium was 6.8--his cardiac enzymes were up and they thought he had a heart attack and put him in CCU over night. His heart rythms were out of whack. All this because his kidneys were not getting rid of the potassium. Mary Ulmer RN
