hi all

the subject of mao inhibitors and the so-called 'cheese effect'
seems to pop up every few months

there is NO interaction problem
with a highly selective mao-b inhibitor such as selegiline
and the foods mentioned

anyone [with web access] who is interested in reviewing the past discussions
in the pd list archives can search at the 'James' website
kindly provided by Simon Coles:

1. go to his website:
     "Welcome to James" at:
     http://new.parkinsons.org.uk/index.htm

2. click on the 'hot links' to the search page
and then enter the following terms in the search query window:
     mao inhibitor AND cheese effect

3. you should then receive a list of approximately 7 messages
click on one of them to look at it
you could then print it, or download it, or mail it to yourself
