Something interesting- ma y father, who suffers from secondary PD and severe mental confusion, was admitted to the hospital with an infection. When he was given oxygen, he seemed to become more alert, and his speech became clearer.

An alarm went off on his IV line, and I said there was an air bubble in the line. The nurse corrected it, but Dad said, "Isn't air in an IV line dangerous?" He hasn; 't shown this level of cognition for months.

Anyway, has anyone else heard of using supplementary oxygen to improve cognition?
