Ooooops!  And after one's had the collagen injections several times,
apparently as the collagen is absorbed by the body a collagen RESIDUE collects
in the vocal cords, sooooooo after a while guess what???

At some point in the series, you won't NEED additional collagen injections
'cause the vocal cords are full of the stuff!

HONEST!!!  Both Dr. Burke and Dr. Pitts told me that and I sure wanna believe
'em!

Tonight (03/09/98 10:00pm east), on NBC's Dateline there
was a quick news brief about an experimental treatment to
improve speech for people that suffer from Parkinson.
A California doctor injects callingin (spelling?) into the
vocal cords so they can close all the way. So far the only draw back
is that it has to be repeated every 6 months.
