CPK *is* a chain, Ken, so you can just drop into your local CPK, order one of
their yummy pasta dishes, eat it there, and imagine you're with the rest of
us! <grin>.

Ya know .... I've been dining at our local Calif. Pizza Kitchen for years and
don't think I've even ordered a pizza there 'cause the pasta is so good! And
there's such a wide variety to chose from....

Barb we have a "California Pizza Kitchen" about 15 miles from my house, but I
don't remember if they have anything other than pizza! I remember it is an
unusual chrome covered building, almost like an old diner, but MUCH bigger. I
am curious if it is a chain restaurant, and how similar they are. Now, if I
were retired, I would buy a Winnabago, or similar vehicle, and jump in and go
cross country to eat a meal with "youse guys" (as we used to say when I lived
in New YAWK! ) and jump back in, stop in New Orleans for some coffee and
those flat donuts that I cannot spell th name of but looks like beige nets and
pronounced "ben yays" .....and go home!
My son and his friends went (at 10PM!) from Virginia to Philadelphia, a 2 1/2
hour trip one way, to have "real Philly cheese-steak sandwiches", and look at
the crack in the Liberty Bell! So what if I want to spend a few days going
out for a pizza! LOL Have fun, I'll be thinkin' about ya! Ken B
