I can certainly identify with your problem. Much the same happened to me. The first thing I did wrong was go off my Permax to quickly. I immediately corrected that problem by beginning to take along with the Requip half my previous dose of Permax( which was 3 mg/day). I continued to take 1mg of Permax for months before weaning off totally. The second problem was not enough Requip. The starter Pack I believe has .25mg tablets. That translates into 2.25 mg /day after 3 weeks. That simply wasn't near enough medication for me. I'm now taking 21mg of Requip per day. I'M NOT A DOCTOR AND YOU SHOULDN'T CHANGE MEDICATION OR DOSAGE UNLESS INSTRUCTED BY YOUR NEUROLOGIST. I hate changing medications. This episode I described took six weeks out of my life. Hope this provides some help. -----Original Message----- From: JoanD1234 <[log in to unmask]> To: Multiple recipients of list PARKINSN <[log in to unmask]> Date: Sunday, March 15, 1998 1:50 AM Subject: Tremor >I am getting more and more discouraged with my inability to control my tremor. >My present trial is with Requip.
