Regarding tremor- it was my first sign of pd and I had it for a long time before noticing any other signs. Falling was next. Both got worse and I was diagnost about 10 years ago. Believe it or not, when I had to stop all other medication for a time (on a test for a new drug) the only thing I could take was Benedryl. Taking it in the daytime of course made me sleepy but it really helped the tremor. I'm back on 3/100's Senimet and a full dose of Mirapex (1 & 1/2 mg) and a 50 MG cap of Benedrl and my tremor is virtually GONE. The Mirapex made me react like the Enegizer Bunny after sitting in a chair doped with Large doses of Sinemet CR. What works for one does not always work for someone else but keep trying new drugs like Mirapex and old ones like Benedryl. [log in to unmask]
