Please Remind Me Lord When my mind seems to treadmill, Please remind me That You are Not the author of confusion. When ny stomach rolls, my heart pounds, And fear changes the taste in my mouth, You have not given the spirit of fear But power and love and a sound mind. Please take my fear. There do not seem to be easy answers, Maybe no answers now at all, except to trust. I need help even with trusting. "I believe. Help Thou my unbelief." In the presence of mountains, Lord, Please remind me of what You said Regarding mustard seed-sized-faith. I'm trying to walk. Please God, light my way and direct my steps. When clouds hides the sun, would You remind me That it is still shining. You are the light of the world. Please give me the oil of gladness for mourning, And the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. You are the Master Ecologist and nothing is wasted. Into Your hands I commend my spirit.
