Saw a brief news item yesterday here in the DC area. Apparently, some
reputable hospital in Brooklyn is experimenting with electromagnets to
treat severe depression. According to the news report it actually works.
The procedure is totally non-invasive and involves running a cycling
electromagnet over specific areas on the outside of the skull.

The effects of the treatment last for about two months before the patient
has to come back. The report concluded that the developer believes the
treatment will also be effective on other diseases such as PD.

Actually, it makes a great deal of sense to me. Isn't this how palladial
stimulators work? Maybe it isn't necessary to plant the stimulators in the
brain.

Just a thought.
