The fruits of their labor are published as a supplement to the March issue of Neurology. In a telephone interview with Reuters Health, Dr. C. Warren Olanow, coeditor of the supplement and chairman of the department of neurology at Mount Sinai in New York, New York, said that the updated guidelines emphasize the importance of early diagnosis.
