To Listmembers:

I received, in the mail today, a warning letter from the makers of
Tegretol. It states that when the *Suspension* form of Tegretol is
used in combination with certain other drugs related to mental health
(Thorazine and Mellaril were listed), the suspension may combine with
the other drugs to form an "orange rubbery mass" which may be
eliminated in the stool. It is suggested that there is a possibility
that this could decrease the biological effectiveness of the Tegretol
or the other drugs.

Any of the members of this List who are taking Tegretol in
*suspension* form (liquid) should speak to their physicians about
this.

Best,

Bob
