Peace, John Hi John There were a couple of postings about this which seemed to have been ignored inspite of the fact that if the human brain can regenerate itself then this will completely revolutionise PD treatement . There are only two ways that immediatel;y spring to mind . 1) Hormones produced during pregnancy . Here are two quotes from previous postings bred. He wondered whether the swelling (birds )brains during breeding seasons could represent the actual growth of new brain cells. At the time, Nottebohm said, he knew nothing of Altman's The other quote was from Janet of [log in to unmask] posting under the subject of Heresy .I unfortunately did not keep a copy of this posting . The point she was making was that during her pregnancy her PD improved considerably due to neck massage . She interpreted his as being due to neck massage but I am suggesting maybe it was due to her pregnancy hormones . This is an interesting avenue of research but I am not able to pursue it !. Does anyone else know of any other PWP being pregnant ? 2) I have read one or two assertions that human growth hormone have improved /cured PD symptoms . This is only logical if the brain can regenerate . I shall be pursuing this avenue sometime in the future , when I find a way of getting around the hinderances of the medical establishment . peace Alastair ( [log in to unmask] )
