Last night I sent an uncompleted message to the list by mistake. Sorry about that! I was trying to do too many things at once. I did complete the message but discovered this morning that I sent it to myself instead of to the list. Therefore, I will try once again to send this message to you all. Hope you all have a great day! I agree with Ivan. We have to stand united and PUSH, PUSH, PUSH to educate the public about Parkinson's Disease and the need to FUND THE UDALL BILL so the cause and cure can be found. I am only 44 and I do not know what this disease has in store for me. So far I am trying to take it day to day and not worry about the future but it is scary and difficult. I am not by nature a person who likes to be the center of attention. However, on Monday I will be going on TV with Ivan to bring more exposure to PD. I think it is very important to do this! Ivan, Greg Leeman and myself have been working on a Maine celebration of World Parkinson's Day on April 11th. Every chance I get I work on educating people about PD. I WILL NOT BE SILENT about having this disease and I will continue to work with Ivan, Greg and everyone else with PD in fighting to help people who already have the disease and to help find a cure. I challenge all of you to NOT BE SILENT. If we do not go out and fight for ourselves no one will even know about us. REMEMBER - the squeaky wheel gets the grease! KEEP SMILING, NEVER GIVE UP HOPE, AND WORK TOWARDS A CURE! Karen Bardo :-)))) [log in to unmask] 44/2
