After reading Ken's post regarding Holly Robinson-Peete, I too wanted to
express how dedicated Holly and her husband Rodney are to the Parkinson's
cause.

Both Holly and Rodney served as honorary chairs at NPF's 41st annual
International "Gala for Hope" this past February 14 where they made a
speech testifying to their commitment to helping raise awareness for
Parkinson's disease.

Since then, Holly has signed on a spokesperson for a new program NPF is
launching in conjunction with Hoffmann-LaRoche titled "Stretching the
Bounds of Parkinson's Management".

"Stretching the Bounds" is a series of interactive seminars that focus on
how people with Parkinson's disease can stretch their quality of life.
Later this month, Holly and Rodney will be part of a huge media tour to
gain awareness of the program and PD and will also participate in the
seminars. The first one is scheduled to take place in NY on May 6.

For more information on the "Stretching the Bounds" series, visit our
website at www.parkinson.org

As far as Holly's father, Matthew Robinson, he starred as "Gordon" on
Sesame Street and then later segued to the Cosby show as a producer for
seven years.

The Parkinson community is indeed lucky to have individuals like Holly and
Rodney working on its behalf!
