Bob... A coupla alternatives to driving back to Phoenix every few months:

You might try giving the Eisenhower Medical Center in Palm Springs (actually,
I think it's in Rancho Mirage, which is right next-door to Palm Springs) a
call and see if they have a movement disorder specialist on staff. This is a
state-of-the-art med center and I'd think they'd have that kind of specialist
on staff.

Dr .Robert Iacono's office is in Redlands which isn't all that far from Palm
Springs - maybe an hour away - and that's at least closer than Phoenix. Dr.
Iacono is a top notch movement disorder specialist. You cna also ask his
office for an MD referral in the Palm Springs area.

Nancy
' you can find some excellent PD docs in Phoenix at the Barrows Neurological
Institute and the Mayo Clinic. My Doc is Abraham Lieberman, (Barrows N.I.
602-406-6300). he is one of the best in the country, maybe the world. As a
matter of fact I am moving next month to Palm Springs CA and plan to drive the
350 miles back to Phoenix, every 3-4 months, to continue seeing him. Good Luck
in wherever you go.
