We have an appointment with the doctor this coming Monday, so I'm back in research gathering mode and will carry your suggestion along with me. Dad had worked up to 4 carbidopa/levodopa's a day, half-way towards the neuro's goal of 8, but he just couldn't handle it. The 4-a-day dosage didn't seem to be helping his nearly useless right arm much. The neuro had hoped that 8-a-day would make a difference, but Dad's going to need something else to help him get there since he was truly incapacitated by the 4 pills. I'm real curious to see what the doctor comes up with next. At least he hasn't given up on us! Jane
