I also have 2x5mg Benzhexol (which I have been on since first diagnosed over six years ago). My understanding was that ReQuip works to loosen the rigidity; in fact the doctor implied that it would not help tremor. So if I take ReQuip to loosen me up I do have a very short period when the tremor feels worse. My prodlems with ReQuip are the nausea and the yawning which happens after about one hour. Others on the list have quoted similar effects. The "patient information leaflet" also refers to these. It also refers to "swelling of the arms and legs" as potential side effects.
