My very first therapy for PD was Benadryl and Symmetrel--taken twice daily. It worked a little for a while. Unfortunately, that is what one can expect from this rather weak antiparkinson drug. However, as time goes by, I remain on it and contrary to what my physician says I miss it a lot if I stop it. I have also switched to the considerably cheaper Amantadine (generic). I have continued the drug (my doctor didn't tell me to stop it).after starting Mierapex. Regards, WHH
