Ken's sense of smell has been gone for a long time. He was thoroughly tested for this over two years ago and they said it was gone. Also his ability to distingush colors is almost gone. This has had no effect on his appetite so far nor his apparent ability to taste. He still comments on foods he likes and can still notice if something tastes bad. I too would think taste and smell would go together especially if the food begins to all look the same color. But in Ken's case this doesn't seem to be so. Barbara Smith, CG/ken/70/17
