Nan,
This is response to your queery about voice software. At one time, AOL made 1
of their offers & this 1 was for Voice Type/Simply Speaking by IBM. It is in
the same family as the 1 you mention below. I got so aggrivated that I shipped
the software back. The idea is absolutely wonderful but the program made more
errors than I do. It was supposed to only take something like 20 minutes to do
the training for the software to recognize my speech. I went thru the
"training" 3 different times myself on several different days. My husband even
tried the training to see if it was just MY speech, before we sent it back. I
don't know but the program might work for your needs but I couldn't make it
work for me. My best recommendation is that you make sure you have a trial
period & can return it if it doesn't suit your needs.

On another note, I saw that AOL now offers voice e-mail. If you already have a
microphone, you might like this software. I don't know if the disks come w/mic
but it was available for downloading when I saw the ad 2 days ago. Here's the
link <A HREF="http://www.bonzi.com/america-online/e-mail.htm">Voice E-Mail 3.0
for AOL</A>

Whatever you decide,
Good luck & Best wishes,

Bonnie
daughter of Jim 76/2

ps Other than being another AOL user, I stake no claims for any products. I
don't have a mic so can't use (right now) the voice e-mail.
