Last year I was beginning to have to wait for up to an hour sometimes before the sinemet would begin to work . Up to this time I usually "clicked on" within 20 mins after taking a pill and I was feeling quite frustrated. I did some research and discovered some people were taking sinemet in liquid form or crushing their tablets for faster results. I spoke to my doc and we agreed to try chewing the sinemet tablets to see what happens. IT worked and I began feeling the effects of the sinemet working again within 20 mins. time . I'm now on 4 tabs of 25/100 per day and I continue to chew them and swallow down with a glass of water or juice followed by eating a few pretzels or crackers as it seems if I don't take sinemet with a bit of food, that too slows things down and it takes longer to feel the effects of the sinemet. good luck. patsy
