Hi, I had that test and swore to the doctor, if I ever had to take it again,
I promise I will tell him anything he wants to know.
The reason I had it was to determin if I had Myasthenia Gravis. The
electrode needles were inserted into my muscle in my arm in 2 places and
then in my forehead above my left eye. Once they are inserted they receive
electrical shocks , to see how the nerve reacts, I guess, but then the
needle is moved around in the muscle while still inserted! I had an hour of
this but I must say I was happy to hear that I do not have that problem
along with PD.
