Camilla, your answer to Lori, has inspired an idea. You know they use "flight simulators" to train pilots, which gives the feel of flying without actually being in an airplane. What about a PD simulator? A virtual reality device that would simulate the symptoms of Parkinson's for family members, caretakers, and especially insurance executives and employers, to have some idea of what PD does to a person, in each of the stages. I know it would be impossible to actually mimic all the symptoms, but a good programmer could come close. This could be done for other conditions too, making it a profitable venture for a manufacturer. [log in to unmask]
