Here's an update on our experience with satin sheets. It might help someone else. My wife now says "Don't ever take away my satin sheet. I couldn't get along without it." Some of the problems just seemed to go away as she got used to it. Two other problems needed a little work to correct them: One problem was that the sheet was so slippery that it would not stay put. I solved that problem with a product (from Walmart) called "Elastic Sheet Straps" Another problem was that of clinbing into bed without the danger of falling out. This was solved by lowering the mattress about 4". Frankly, I don't believe you should have to "climb" into bed. I believe the top of the mattress should be about the same height as the seat of a chair. I hope this might help someone else with the same problem.
