Again, I must say that CO poisoning WAS the cause of my P.D. I ended up with
bi-lateral lesions to both the internal and the external globus pallidus.
This, of course, left me with a very atypical Parkinson's like illness.
I understand that CO attacks the weakest part of the brain, so to those of you
who are wondering why YOU were stricken with P.D. and others who were also
exposed were left unharmed, I say: Check with those you worked with and see
how their "Overall" functioning is, i.e. memory. We may just be smarter than
they are.
