Hi Janet, Your question about generic sinemet Vs. brand name: In my experience I have found no difference in the effectiveness of either RX. However, when I use the CR version for 3-4 doses in a row my head starts to feel terribly heavy. Now I use the generic version and only use the CR when I need a longer lasting ON period. I just have to plan ahead according to what is going on that day and only use one CR in any one day.
