Lori, I can tell you from experience, with my father, that personality changes occur, some from the PD itself, some from the medications. I am NOT a doctor, this is from observation of how my father has changed. it does vary according to him being "on or off". We know that he is the same loveable guy, and we don't blame him at all. You may be able to get your mom help through medication and maybe even counseling, to counteract the symtoms. [log in to unmask]
