                **Reader Response alert**

Our reader response web site has now been reconfigured to include a
web-based Discussion Board. You can find this at:

http://www.ualberta.ca/~dmiall/reading/index.htm

Please come and take a look, and consider posting your comments, questions,
or queries. These might be about any aspect of reader response studies --
theory, empirical work, new media (e.g., hypertext), implications for
teaching, etc. Please also feel free to use it to announce your own
publications in the area, or to alert us to web sites of interest (including
your own, if you have one), or provide any other information of interest to
the reader response research community.

Please note that the first time you use it you'll be invited to enter an ID
and password, and type in a few brief details about yourself, including
email address. This is so that you can then personalize your use of the
Discussion Board. For example, you can set it to send you an email alert
when a new message has been posted (see the menu under MORE).

Please also consider forwarding this message to any one else (colleagues,
grad students, etc.), who might be interested in joining the discussion.

We look forward to seeing you online!

Best regards, David Miall ([log in to unmask])
