Good morning, There is a book "Etiology of Parkinson's Disease" by Ellenberg, Koller & Langston published in 1995 with a chapter that reviews what are apparently all the signicant incidence and prevalence studies. (Koller is the well-known PD expert from Univ of Kansas). The authors consider door-to-door interviews by people capable of making a diagnosis the most accurate method of collecting data but also the most expensive. There are only a few areas of the US surveyed in this manner - Rochester NY, Rochester Minn (Olmsted county), upper Manhattan, and Copiah county Miss. I will get back with further details. Phil T.
