At the age of 60, I have recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's
disease. My main symptoms now are a tremor in my left hand and a reduced
left arm swing. For over 30 years I have had chronic muscular aches and
stiffness and, also, chronic asthma and headaches. My 30 year old
daughter has had headaches and a vestibular disorder since childhood and
has recently developed muscular aches and stiffness and asthma that does
not adequately respond to therapy.

Have any of you had chronic muscular aches and stiffness for many years
preceding the onset of Parkinson's?

Have any of you had chronic asthma for many years preceding the onset of
Parkinson's?

If the answer is yes to either of the above questions, do you have a son
or daughter with these muscular or asthmatic problems?

We are looking for a medical facility at which to have my daughter
evaluated. Can anyone suggest such a place, especially on the west
coast? Has anyone had experience with Barrow Neurological Institute in
Phoenix, AZ?

I will appreciate your responses.
