Subject: Amplifier for voice loss

Since the subject of voice loss has come up recently,
I have a question for anyone. My Mother (PD, 82 years old) has almost lost
her voice--very low volume. We would like to buy her something to amplify
her voice on the telephone (she has stopped calling her friends because of
her weak voice). We can find a million things to amplify hearing but
nothing to to amplify the voice transmission on a telephone.

ANY SUGGESTIONS OR IDEAS OF WHERE TO FIND SOMETHING THAT WOULD AID HER WILL
BE APPRECIATED!

Jim
