Dale, you have your work cut out for you. You might start by telling him to install a stair-elevator to make it easy for him to use the stairs. Ask him how he would feel if he did not want to move and was forced to. The car could probably be modified for his caregiver to use, remind him he may be forced to quit driving. Ask him what he would do if his caregiver got fed up and left him on his own, what would he do? I bet he would have a problem coming up for that answer!
