I have just dicovered that the stories of John Kempers' pallidotomy and Joan Sanderson's electrode (?) implants are being re-broadcast today, May 17, 1998 at 3 PM (Toronto time) on the discovery channel. I happened to see part of last night's broadcast. The stories are told with empathy and tact. Question: how up to date are the techniques that are demonstrated?
