Thought I'd brag a bit about our PD support group action...yesterday
at our meeting we signed and sent off over a hundred letters to our
members of Congress urging them to fully fund the Udall Bill
specifically for PD...we are also circulating petitions to be signed
and delivered in person locally to the offices of our Congressman &
woman (we have two districts covered in our membership) asking them
to do the same. (these are entirely different names) Our Board of
Directors has also voted to send a representative to the Pan Forum in
June in Washington DC, paying all expenses. I must say I'm proud of
the job Parkinson Association of Santa Barbara is doing in its 20th
year of operation.
