A side note: Try having someone else grab the affected part and shake it like a rag doll's limb, while you relax. For me and several others that takes the dystonia away. The relief is usually only temporary, however. As soon as one starts using the limb again the dystonia comes back. I think I have observed that it is a function of how much dopa brain activity is going on. If so, then waiting for ones medicines to take hold is the only thing which seems make these "go away."
