Bob M. stated in a message on the Parkinson's List that hr thought hiring a PR firm to enhance the public image of PWP might be a good use of funds of the NPF or other Parkinson's groups. I agree. I plan to call the NPF 800/327-4545 and Parkinson's Action Network 800/850-4726 to see if either group has used any funds to hire PR firm and to ask about the possibility of either public info. tapes or public info. scripts that could be used by local radio/tv stations or by the new hotline phone # that is being funded in my city of Trenton, MO that is seeking info. to put on their new system.
