>Do you know how to relieve muscle cramps for long periods while sitting?
>
>Do you think the cramps might be related to where the chair contacts his legs?

do not sit so long. take the walk!

the locus of 'cramps' is not usually determined by physical contact locus.
However, pain can be caused by localized presssure. sitting properly will
not have pressure at the front edge of the chair. raise the feet or lower
the seat. a cushion may help if the seated posture is proper. sitting for
more than 20 minutes is not recommended.
