Hi Danielle--welcome aboard! Here's a list of drugs that don't mix with PD, which Bill Heit suggested might help you care for your grandma. I am glad that you are so concerned about her, and have access to the internet to help her. Tell us more about what meds she takes, etc., and ask any questions you want to. There are lots of sources of info, good pamphlets from the national PD organizations, etc.--just ask! >Date: Fri, 05 Dec 1997 18:40:37 -0500 (EST) >From: Camilla Flintermann <[log in to unmask]> >Subject: Re: contra-indicated meds for PwP (fwd) (fwd) > >----------------------------Original message---------------------------- >Date: Sat, 8 Nov 1997 05:37:36 -0500 >Reply-To: Parkinson's Information Exchange <[log in to unmask]> >Sender: Parkinson's Information Exchange <[log in to unmask]> >From: Brian Collins <[log in to unmask]> >Subject: Re: contra-indicated meds for PwP >To: Multiple recipients of list PARKINSN <[log in to unmask]> >In-Reply-To: <[log in to unmask]> > > > >From: [log in to unmask] >Subject: APDA drug contraindication-orange card >To: Multiple recipients of list PARKINSN <[log in to unmask]> > >reprint of little orange card from the APDA below: > >DRUGS CONTRAINDICATED FOR PARKINSON'S DISEASE PATIENTS > The term "contraindicated" essentially means that the drug in question >should not be given to a Parkinsonsian.
