Did anyone on the list know that the fellow who played Gabby Hayes, before getting full time into the movie business with Roy, was in real life a college professor at one of the universities in California? I don't remember what he taught. Does anyone out there know? Wouldn't it be great if each of us had such a devoted "sidekick". I guess some of you do, they are called care givers. A good "sidekick" helps in keeping us from taking life too seriously.
