I was prescribed imiprimine (and then amitriptiline because imi caused nasusea) as a sleeping aid. I would think it would be the wrong one to take as an antidprsnt in the AM Sorry I can't comment on the others. Bruce A. BTW, I went off the ami after all the hoopla here about its safety, without any interruption in my sleep pattern - 6 hrs uninterrupted. I just make sure I'm good and tired before I go to bed.
