Several years ago I read of a family that couldn't afford the high prices of drugs and between himself and his wife they had several hundred dollars of medication each month that wasn't covered by insurance. They decided to ask every pharmacy in town to bid on his account. He was surprised to realize the pharmacys could adjust their prices and ended up saving quite a bit by shopping around. I don't know if it would work nowadays with Athena, Wallmart and Costco to compete with. Worth a try. jjjane
