i gather that you lost some of your e-mail messages
but i do recall your writing in to the list the first time
about a week ago

since i didn't hear back from you then,
i will assume you lost my reply to you

i have repeated your original message below,
along with my reply for your records

i am sorry to hear that you now have
more than one relative with parkinson's disease -
is there a high incidence of parkinson's in your family?
have they tried any supplements?

when you say you are starting to 'work with' nadh
what do you mean? are you taking it yourself?
or are you giving it to your relations with pd?

you mention 'muscle conductivity' - what is this function
and how would it relate to parkinson's disease?

since you mention feedback once again
i'm still curious as to what you mean -
feedback about parkinson's? in what way?

hi stefan

welcome to our cyber-family, stefan!

with 1600 caring and knowledgeable members worldwide,
and mailing list archives dating back to its start in nov 1993
you have tapped into an incredible resource!
please, ask away!

>First off , I am a strength and endurance trainer working
>with some of the best athletes in the country.

how interesting!
those of us suffering with this movement disorder
are pretty familiar with demands on our strength and endurance
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52.3 weeks per year, 365 days per annum

>Why I am on the list is simple, I have a relative
>with Parkinson and would like to help.

your relative is lucky to have you!
please give us more details as to your relative's
symptoms....
medication levels...
male or female...
age of diagnosis....
was the diagnosis of pd made by a neurologist
or a specialist in movement disorders?

>I have access to product which few people work with
>and would like feedback as to their potential.

i'm afraid i'm at a loss to give you any feedback...
what do you mean by access?
which products do you mean?

>Does any one has documents on NADH and treatments?

we have a lot of information in our list archives
on nadh and similarly marketed products
feel free to do a search there:
http://new.parkinsons.org.uk/index.htm

>I am using presently a mineral compound
>who's basis is muscle conductivity -
>I believe this might be of use -
>since it allows for a optima mineral
>medium for electrical transfer .

how are you presently using this compound?
has your relative tried it?
why do you think it would be of use with pd?

i'm not cognisant of the finer chemical details here
but i'm sure that the medical experts here
who are members of our cyber family
will have some thoughts to offer
as well as our own resident dietician, kathrynne

>Also has anyone ever used Inosine and / or creatine monohydrate.
>Inosine is a food substrate which works directly with the mitochondria
>for oxygen replenishment and muscle strength/endurance.

i don't know if this type of thing is helpful for a neurological condition...
we generally have discussions on brain chemistry!
maybe you could search the archives for this as well...

>Creatine monohydrate is close to Inosine in that it creates
>a higher octane fuel for cellular function -- it also may increase
>cell fluid volume and muscle strength if used correctly.

again, an archive search may be helpful here
i have just reposted the instructions on searching the archives
how long have you been a member of our list family?

it might be useful for you to do a search at PubMed as well
there are more than 9 million medical studies on record there...
their url is http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed/

>I eagerly look forward to any feedback or questions

i will just as eagerly look forward to hearing from you
about your relative - our new parkie sibling!

being diagnosed with an incurable and degenerative disease
can be devastating, to say the least:
so i am glad your relative has your support,
especially now, as a member of this list!
since we consider ourselves a cyber-family
your relative [and you] now have 1600 more relatives!

from your cyber-sibling
